Meridianbet, a leading sports betting and iGaming operator in 18 jurisdictions, has extended its title sponsorship deal with EuroLeague basketball club Crvena Zvezda (Red Star Belgrade) through 2030, maintaining one of European basketball’s most significant long-term private-sector partnerships.

Meridianbet is a subsidiary of NASDAQ-listed Golden Matrix Group Inc. (NASDAQ: GMGI).

The multi-year extension continues a relationship that began in January 2023, with the Serbian club competing under the name “Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet” across all competitions including EuroLeague, ABA League, and Serbian League. Meridianbet branding appears on team jerseys and throughout Belgrade Arena.

The deal reflects Meridianbet’s strategic focus on markets where basketball commands significant cultural relevance and media reach. Crvena Zvezda competes in the EuroLeague—a 20-team competition spanning 12 countries with a global fanbase exceeding 90 million—which serves as the primary European talent pipeline to the NBA. The club’s alumni include Hall of Famers Vlade Divac and Peja Stojakovic.

Founded in 1945, Crvena Zvezda holds 24 Serbian national championships, 14 national cups, and seven ABA League titles. The club plays home matches at the 18,000-capacity Belgrade Arena.
