WILLIAM HILL TO SPONSOR NEWCASTLE’S NORTHUMBERLAND PLATE FESTIVAL

Arena Racing Company (“ARC”) and William Hill are delighted to confirm sponsorship of the three-day Northumberland Plate Festival, which will take place at Newcastle Racecourse between Thursday 24 and Saturday 26 June.

The William Hill Northumberland Plate Festival is the highlight of the summer racing season at Newcastle with the William Hill Northumberland Plate on Saturday, Europe’s richest two-mile handicap, the feature.

The deal will see William Hill branding prominently displayed around the racecourse, alongside race titles for the Saturday card and other feature races of the meeting, including the Seaton Delaval Handicap as well as the Hoppings Stakes and Gosforth Park Stakes.

Saturday’s William Hill Northumberland Plate meeting will be broadcast live on both Sky Sports Racing and ITV Racing. To celebrate the new sponsorship, Hills will offer 6 places, instead of 4, on the William Hill Northumberland Plate and currently make the George Boughey trained Lostwithiel their 11/1 favourite.
