888 Holdings launches into Colorado,Indiana, and Iowa with 888Sport brand

UK-listed online gambling operator 888 Holdings has recently announced its expansion into three more US states. This brand expects to launch in Iowa, Indiana and Colorado in 2021 with a focus on sports betting. These states have not yet legalised online casino play.

Multi-year deals

888 Holdings already has some presence in the US market, but this latest announcement shows that they are ready to expand this. They have secured multi-year market access deals with Colorado, Iowa and Indiana. They will be launching the 888Sport brand over the coming year.

This news comes as they have also announced a strong performance over the second half of 2020. This week, stock for the company is up over 4% which shows that they are performing well.

Big partnerships

To launch their 888Sports brand in these three new US states, 888 Holdings has partnered with some big brands. This includes Caesars Entertainment in Indiana, Catfish Bend Casinos II LLC in Iowa and Colorado Grande Casino in Colorado.

While they will simply be offering sports betting services over the next year, gaining entry into these states now is very promising. It is expected that should these states legalise online casino play, 888 Holdings will be there ready and waiting.

This year has been good for 888 Holdings with FY20 revenue to be expected at 45% ahead of 2019’s total. This is certainly an operator to watch in the US space.
