DETROIT, MICHIGAN (June 28, 2022) — Sports Gambling Podcast Network (SGPN) CEO Sean Green encouraged aspiring content creators to seize the day early on in pursuit of their dreams during his expert panelist appearance at the Fantasy Sports & Gaming Association (FSGA) Summer Conference earlier this month.

Co founder and host of the increasingly-prominent Sports Gambling Podcast, Green made his comments during the “Sports Media & Content- Connecting with Your Audience,” segment of the third annual FSGA Conference, hosted by the MGM Grand in Detroit. Green was joined on the panel by Dan Back, Senior Vice President of Operations of RotoGrinders & ScoresAndOdds.com; Mike Wright, Host and Founder of The Fantasy Footballers; and multi-faceted ESPN analyst Stephania Bell.

“Going to college for content creation or podcasting is, frankly, a waste of time,” stated Green, drawing from his own experience as a young sports-crazed entrepreneur who left Penn State after two years to launch what is now the industry’s top independent, completely free sports wagering analysis and prognostication platform. “Communication skills are critical and higher education can refine those important pieces of the puzzle, but technology today provides vast content creation opportunities for everyone at virtually no cost. I tell young people to dive right in, get the right kind of advice and put your time and financial resources directly into your content.”

Green did just that when he launched SGPN with co-founder Ryan Kramer in 2011, establishing one of the first website/digital media platforms to provide consumers with a no-cost entertainment experience featuring sophisticated insight and analysis plus definitive wagering recommendations and selections across the full spectrum of legally-available sports. “Real life experience is way more valuable than what any professor can provide,” he concluded.

SGPN has already exceeded in 2022 its 3.1 million podcast downloads of last year and projects a near-tripling of that number by year end, anticipating powerful growth in late summer and fall with the advent of the college and NFL football seasons. The SGPN platform now has 23 unique podcasts and 60 contributors covering 18 different wagerable sports in support of the flagship Sports Gambling Podcast featuring Green and Kramer plus guests weighing in with entertaining viewpoints on the sports action of the day.
